STX low-height hydraulic cylinders feature a lock nut that ensures secure mechanical load retention for long periods. Each cylinder is single-acting and uses the weight of the load to return the piston to its original position.
The lock nut is tested under 50% overload, giving you complete peace of mind when holding loads securely in many applications, such as supporting foundations, bridge construction and shipbuilding. The body and saddle have a nitrocarburized finish for exceptional durability. Optional inclined saddles can be added to resist lateral loading.
Capacity from 50 to 500 tons, stroke length up to 50 mm.
