Telescopic cylinders – Larzep SL series

The Larzep SL series are high-performance single-acting telescopic cylinders with
capacity from 10 to 30 tons and stroke length up to 600 mm.
The cylinders are made of aluminum, which provides low weight and high
performance.

The high pressure capacity (700 bar) makes them suitable for demanding
applications in industry, construction and transportation.

Choose the right telescopic cylinder – three steps

Power requirement (ton/kN)

Calculate the load and add a safety margin. Rule of thumb:
F = P × A . At 700 bar, the piston area required is
A = F / 70 (F in kN).

Stroke & overall length

Select the total stroke length and check the minimum overall length (A dimension) so that
the cylinder fits in the application.

Connection & speed

Ensure correct port/thread per model and match pump flow to desired
extraction time. Torctech recommends suitable 700-bar pumps, hose and
pressure gauge for a complete system.

Product specification per model

The SL series is available in several steps and sizes. Choose a model by capacity,
total stroke and overall length. For applications with risk of side load –
use control/fixture or consult us.
