DDH series hollow piston hydraulic cylinders are ideal for applications such as tensioning cables and bolts, as well as pulling sleeves or bearings. The hollow piston bore, base holes, piston and collar threads allow for accessories that allow the cylinder to deliver both tensile and compressive forces.
These double-acting, hollow piston hydraulic cylinders have two connection ports to supply hydraulic flow to both advance and retract the piston. This provides a more controlled return than single-acting cylinders with spring return and load return.
A hollow saddle is supplied as standard with each cylinder. Solid or threaded saddles are available as options.
For push and pull operations: Tensioning cables and bolts, pulling sleeves and bearings.
Collar thread, piston reverse thread and base hole for easy fixation.
Safety valve on the retraction side to prevent accidental overpressure.
